Andria Cunningham

Andria Cunningham is the Sr. Director of Development for the Huizenga College of Business & Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University. As the chief architect of a dynamic, integrated program of development activities, for the business college, her role is to advance the mission of Nova Southeastern University by planning, organizing, and implementing strategies to increase the level of personal involvement and financial commitment of donors and prospects of the university.
Prior to joining Nova Southeastern University, Andria held position as the Director of Major Gifts at Broward Health Foundation. She was responsible for directing, managing and coordinating all activities related to the procurement of major gifts for the Chris Evert Children’s Hospital, including the oversight of a $20 million dollar capital campaign and individual donations and other sources deemed appropriate by the organizational leadership. Andria was also employed at the Florida Panthers Hockey Club as their Executive Director of the Foundation, Henderson Behavioral Health and Kids@Home as the Director of Development. In each position she was responsible for increasing brand awareness, donor stewardship and raising money to support the mission. Andria is well-known in the community as an active board member for the Association of Fundraising Professionals and recently joined the Leadership Broward Foundation board. She participated in various committees throughout the years- Children’s Services Council back to school committee, 2-1-1 Broward’s event committee, American Cancer Society-Boca, and the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. She is the past tri-chair of National Philanthropy Day and was nominated as 100 Outstanding Women of Broward County in 2012. In addition, she is a graduate of class 29 of Leadership Broward.
She has been a Broward County resident for 20 years and lives in Fort Lauderdale. Andria holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Barry University.
