Mission Statement
The Strategic Forum is an organization of business leaders from diverse backgrounds dedicated to the exchange of ideas, development of long-term personal and business relationships, and the facilitation of business opportunities among members and their respective networks. With a focus on building relationships and education, the Forum offers members powerful resources for growth, advancement and fulfillment. By bringing together innovative thought leaders, business entrepreneurs and senior executives from disciplines that do not commonly intersect; the Forum presents a new approach to the realization of tangible business results. The Forum achieves its goals through regular meetings, member-to-member communications and guest speaker events.
The South Florida Chapter includes CEOs from Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties from diverse industries and backgrounds. The Strategic Forum is the sponsoring organization for the Strategic Forum Student Group (SFSG) at Nova Southeastern University. www.thestrategicforum.com
The History of the Strategic Forum
The Strategic Forum began in New York City in 2002 as a venue where powerful business leaders from a broad range of disciplines could meet to exchange ideas and create new business opportunities. The South Florida Chapter of high-level
tri-county business executives and entrepreneurs presents a stimulating agenda and discussion at monthly meetings held in the Amaturo Board of Governors Room at the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship.
The Strategic Forum South Florida Chapter generously offers current Master’s Program students the opportunity to complement their academic experience by participating in its meetings as observers. The Strategic Forum also provides the possibility of mentorship and scholarships to current Huizenga School Master’s students who qualify.
The Strategic Forum Student Group (SGSG) is a team consisting of up to 15 select Huizenga School graduate student professionals who have demonstrated a high level of motivation for professional growth. The SFSG members are ad-hoc participants in the Strategic Forum South Florida Chapter.
